The legislative and regulatory agenda for the snack food industry in Latin America has been a very busy one of late. Diego T. Ruiz will provide insight and review the regulatory landscape and assess the prospects for 2015. Ruiz was Executive Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 2006 to 2011, serving as chief operating officer of the principal law enforcement and regulatory agency for the U.S. securities industry. Prior to joining the SEC, Ruiz was Deputy Chief for Strategy and Policy at the Federal Communications Commission.
